On the other hand, on Wednesday, when the Foreign Ministry spokesman was asked about the tension along the Indian border, his reply was that, the situation is stable and under control.

Negotiations are going on at the military and diplomatic level to suggest the matter from both countries.  Spokesman Zhao Lijian has said that China is fully capable of protecting its geographical sovereignty.

At the same time, China is also capable of peace and stability in its border areas.  As far as the border with India is concerned, it is completely stable and under control.  If there is a problem, then we are able to resolve it with discussion and advice.

It is worth mentioning that in the first week of May 2020, Chinese troops have tried to enter the Indian border at least three places in the border areas adjacent to India.

Five thousand of his soldiers are making temporary camps in the Indian border in an area of eastern Ladakh.

Given this challenge, India has started deploying more troops there. Indian Army Chief General Manoj Mukund Narwane had also reviewed the situation after going to Ladakh.

PM Modi had a meeting with the three army chiefs including the defense minister

Trump may have tweeted this, presumably to reduce the severity and level of stress.  In view of the situation of Chinese troops entering the Indian border in Ladakh region and building tents, PM Narendra Modi on Tuesday had a meeting with NSA Ajit Doval, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, CDS Bipin Rawat and the heads of the three services.

This meeting has been given prominence in the international media. Just before this statement of the US President, a senior US State Department official termed the incident of entering the Indian border from China very worrying.
